Shearing Machine

A shearing machine is a machine that shears a sheet by reciprocating linear motion with one blade relative to the other.

It uses a moving upper blade and a fixed lower blade to apply a shearing force to the metal sheets of various thicknesses with a reasonable blade gap to break the sheets in the required size.

Shearing machine is one of the forging machinery, the main role is in the metal processing industry.

The shearing machine is widely used in aviation, light industry, metallurgy, chemical, construction, shipbuilding, automobile, electric power, electrical appliances, decoration industries.

Main classification

Special shearing machine

Most of the time it’s been used with other equipment to complete special purposes.

(1) Cold bending forming linear shearing machine

For example, a special shearing machine equipped on a production line such as the car longitudinal beam cold bend line, the car side baffle production line, and the color steel plate forming line;

(2) Steel structure production line shearing machine

It is mostly used in the automatic production line of angle steel and H-beam to complete the cutting process;

(3) Sheet open line shearing machine

It is used for the high-speed shearing machine designed for the plate unwinding leveling line to meet the fast cutting requirements of the production line.

Most of the thick plate lines are hydraulic high-speed shearing machines; the thin plate lines are equipped with pneumatic shearing machines; the high-speed lines are equipped with flying shears, which are continuously produced with high efficiency.

Oblique edge shearing machine

The upper and lower blades of the shearing machine are at an angle.

Generally, the blades are inclined, and the inclination angle is generally 1°~6° .

The shearing force of the inclined blade shearing machine is smaller than that of the flat blade shearing machine, so the motor power and the weight of the whole machine are greatly reduced, and the practical application is the most.

Most of the shearing machine manufacturers are producing such shearing machines.

Flat blade shearing machine

The shearing quality is good, the distortion is small, but the shearing force is large and the energy consumption is large.

More mechanical transmission.

The upper and lower blades of the shearing machine are parallel to each other, and are often used for hot-shearing rolling of billets and slabs in rolling mills.

According to the cutting method, it can be divided into an upper cut type and a lower cut type.

 Multi-purpose shearing machine

(1) Ironworker machine

The cutting of the sheet can be completed, and the profile can be cut, which is mostly used for the blanking process;

(2) Sheet bending and shearing machine

That is, the two processes of cutting and bending can be completed on the same machine.
